WALLHACK SP-004A
The SP-004A is a 39cm x 45cm tempered glass mousepad. Same surface and same glide as the SP-004, scaled down to fit smaller desks, ensuring space for a keyboard. The glass is micro-etched and uncoated, tempered at 620°C, so there's no coating to wear through and the glide stays where it started. 3.9mm thick, 1500g, sitting on a full 60A silicone base that holds on a slippery desk.
Cloth slows down. The fibres compress where you use them most, cloth wears down and the pad you broke in stops feeling like the pad you bought. Glass doesn't change. The glide is faster than cloth and holds up over years rather than months, and cleaning it takes just a wipe.
No. The texture is etched into the glass itself, not applied on top. Coatings wear through where you use them most, which is how a pad ends up feeling different in the middle than at the edges. Uncoated glass doesn't do that. What it feels like out of the box is what it feels like in two years.
No, it's tempered at 620°C, which puts it in the same strength class as the security glass used in shopfronts and car windows. Tempering ensures that the pad resists impact and flex, rather than giving way to it. The surface is a field of microscopic faceted structures, each one engineered to minimize contact between skate and glass. Three layers, 3.9mm in total. The top is tempered glass, micro-etched so the texture is cut into the surface rather than applied to it, and left uncoated so there's nothing to wear through.
The colour is printed on the underside, where your mouse never reaches it.
The bottom is 60A silicone running the full width of the pad, so the glass is supported across its whole area and grips the desk instead of resting on it.
Glass is non-porous, and so is the silicone under it. Sweat, condensation, a knocked-over drink: none of it soaks in. Cleaning involves just a microfiber cloth and water, or a glass-safe cleaner if something has dried on. No stains, no edge fraying, no soft patches where your palm sits.
Tempered glass isn't window glass. The surface is held under compression, so it resists flexing, takes knocks that would crack an untreated sheet, and is built to hold together rather than shatter.
